Sometimes it is useful to create a connection between an entry you add to someone's timeline and another constituent - for example, you might add an activity about a conversation with a constituent but want to link it to the organisation they are a trustee of - to do that you need to find the Add Connection button on the timeline entry - see example below - that button will allow you to find another constituent on the database - once you have found the constituent complete any further information and press Save Changes.

When you open a timeline entry that is linked to another constituent you will see the name of the linked constituent, you can use the Clear Connection button to remove the link.
