To establish the link between Donorfy and Mailchimp you will firstly need to generate a Mailchimp API key. 

Please note, due to the way Mailchimp's API permissions work, the Mailchimp API key must be set up by a user within your Mailchimp account that is an Admin.

To generate your Mailchimp API key, sign in to your Mailchimp account.

• Click on the account options under your sign in name and select Account
• Next click on Extras and API keys

• Click Create A Key button. 
  
• Mailchimp will create a unique API key for your account and display it in the Your API Keys section - check the Mailchimp knowledgebase for more detailed instructions

• Copy the Mailchimp API key to the clipboard (Ctrl+C)
  
  

Next from within Donorfy...

• Within Integrations > Mailchimp > Settings enter the Mailchimp API key that you copied in the previous step.
• Press the orange Test Settings button to check the link. Once the API key has been checked you will be able to save your changes.
