The channels displayed on a constituent's profile are the methods by which you can contact a constituent. Channels are managed up within Configuration > Settings > Constituent > Communication Channels

Donorfy will come pre-configured with the following standard channels, which shouldn't be changed:

  • Direct Mail
  • SMS
  • Email
  • Website

You can set up additional or amend your channel list as follows:

Creating New Channels

  • Click on the add new button 
  • Type in your description e.g. Social, Direct Messenger or chat
  • Ensure the Active switch is toggled to Yes
  • Save changes

Amending your channel list

  • Click on the channel you would like to amend
  • Toggle the Active switch to Yes or No as required
  • Save changes

Please note that you cannot delete channels from the list, only de-activate them
