Within Donorfy you can alter the Processing basis for your Communication Channels; Legitimate Interest and Opt-In.
When a change has been made to the Processing basis option within your Communication Channels all of your Forms collecting Channel consents will need to be updated to ensure that they remain correct. This article will guide you through how to update your Forms to ensure that they are all kept up-to-date.
Keeping your Communication Consents Updated
Click on the options below to update your Form(s)
Open Forms > Manage Forms
Click on the Form that you need to update
Click on the Designer tab to open the section containing all of the Form Elements
On the Communication Consents Element, click 'Show Details' to open up the Element
Make a note of the Communication Consents Element position on the Form and the Consent options and wording that are currently set (screenshot and paste to Word or write it down) as you'll need these later
Click on the red button 'Remove from Form'
Scroll up the page and click on Save Changes
Once the Form changes have been saved, close the Form by clicking on Manage Forms
Re-open your Form
Click on the Designer tab to open the section containing all of the Form Elements
Locate the Communication Consents Element and click on Add to Form
Click and hold to drag the Element to the correct position on the Form
Click 'Show Details' to open up the Element
Using your screenshot or notes taken earlier, re-add your consent options and the wording used for the question to ask
Scroll up the page and click on Save Changes
Continue with the steps above for each Form that uses Communication Consents until all Forms are updated.
